More/Other Information:
Dr. McClintock loves practicing medicine in Trinidad and plans to do so until he retires. He enjoys the great people, his family, and our small town. It is nice to be recognized around town rather than just being another face in the crowd. Few healthcare providers understand the nuances and obstacles faced by the small town provider. Though Dr. McClintock may preach the importance of disposition, ultimately, his philosophy in healthcare is to workup, treat, and manage patients the way he would want his family and loved ones or himself cared for; oftentimes, understanding what the patient is most worried about and addressing that will go a long way towards treating the patient and their condition. He does not pretend to know everything, but continues to learn every day. More emphasis is placed on training and less on experience, but at some point, when "practicing" medicine, experience trumps all.Dr. McClintock enjoys spending time with his family, travel, hiking, and mountain climbing.
