The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

At the direction and control of the Lab Director, the Medical Technologist will perform mechanical and chemical operations and micropscopic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Ensures that chemical, microscopic, hematology and bacteriologic tests are performed accurately and efficiently, and that the results are reported in a timely manner. Records and reports laboratory results. Performs other duties as assigned including support of any student medical training performed at facility. Applies techniques used in fields of Hematology, Serology, Chemistry, Bacteriology and Immunohematology. Understands the relationship of test results to patient age specific characteristics. Comply with all Health and Safety, Laboratory policies and protocol and Human Resources policies and procedures.
    Qualifications:
    Education:Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Biology, or related degree
    License Required:ASCP, NCA, AMT, HEW. BLS Certification
